My name is Sonja and this blog will focus mostly on Anxiety Spectrum disorders, namely GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia and Depression.

I was diagnosed with GAD back in 2000 when I was sixteen. I recovered the following year but then relapsed. In 2001 or early 2002 I was diagnosed with Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia. From 2002 to 2003 I was a complete recluse, unable to leave my house at all. That was one of the worst periods of my life.

I'm still agoraphobic but am able to leave the house. I can't travel too far from home without panicking and that's what I'm working on right now. And this blog will chronicle my journey out of agoraphobia.
